The pair appeared side by side at the Balenciaga fall/winter 2026–2027 womenswear show on March 7, taking their seats in the front row as photographers quickly focused on their coordinated style.
Both arrived wearing black, but each brought a very different interpretation of the color.
Watts chose a sleek and refined look that highlighted classic elegance. The actress wore a strapless black top with a low waistline that draped softly over a pair of tailored cigarette trousers. She finished the outfit with large vintage earrings, a compact clutch and a bold swipe of red lipstick that stood out against the monochrome look.
Next to her, 17-year-old Kai Schreiber delivered a far more experimental style statement.
Kai, the teenage daughter of Watts and actor Liev Schreiber, has been gradually stepping into the fashion spotlight. She made her runway debut in May of last year at the Valentino show during Paris Fashion Week and has continued to attract attention for her evolving personal style.
Kai, who is openly transgender, appeared confident as she embraced several daring beauty trends. Her look featured bleached eyebrows, a deep side part and smudged black eyeliner, creating a dramatic punk-inspired effect that contrasted sharply with her earlier, more polished public appearances.
The bold styling also marked a noticeable shift from the softer image she presented during public events in mid-2024.
Together, mother and daughter once again became one of the most photographed duos at the show, highlighting both their close bond and Kai’s growing presence in the fashion world.
