Celine Dion made an unexpected and emotional appearance at Paris Fashion Week. The 58-year-old singer, who is living with stiff-person syndrome, closed L’Oréal’s Express Your Worth show near the Eiffel Tower.
For her return to the spotlight, Dion wore a fitted black floor-length gown with bare shoulders. Diamond-and-pearl drop earrings, a statement ring and a sparkling bracelet added glamour to the elegant look. Her hair was worn loose with a center part, while her makeup highlighted her eyes and featured a nude lip.
The evening became even more memorable when Celine performed her hit I’m Alive at Place Joffre, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. Other stars from the show joined her onstage, including Eva Longoria, who warmly embraced Dion after the performance.
The moment carried special meaning because of the singer’s ongoing health battle. Dion revealed in 2022 that she had been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, a progressive neurological condition that causes muscle stiffness and painful spasms. At its worst, the illness affected both her ability to walk and to sing, forcing her to cancel a major tour in 2023.
Since then, Celine has followed an intensive rehabilitation program involving medication, physiotherapy, vocal therapy and immunotherapy. She also works hard to maintain her physical strength, doing 90-minute Pilates sessions three times a week and ballet barre training twice weekly.
The singer has spoken proudly about the progress she has made and previously promised herself, “I will sing again.”
Her Paris Fashion Week appearance comes during an important period in her return to live performance. In September, Dion brought her On ne change pas show to the French capital and became emotional during her first performance after a long-awaited comeback.
Her five-week residency in autumn 2026 includes 16 concerts, with another 10 performances planned for May 2027.
This time, however, it was the combination of fashion and music that created the unforgettable moment. Dressed in an elegant black gown beneath the Eiffel Tower, Dion once again stood before an audience and sang.
