Catherine Zeta-Jones marked a very special family occasion with a romantic declaration to Michael Douglas. The Hollywood couple share the same birthday, and this year the actress celebrated it by posting an intimate photograph of herself kissing her husband in the water.
Douglas turned 82, while Zeta-Jones celebrated her 57th birthday. Instead of choosing a formal red-carpet portrait or a glamorous event photo, the actress shared a much more personal moment between them.
In the image, Catherine and Michael are together in the water, completely absorbed in each other as they share a tender, passionate kiss. The romantic photograph captured the couple seemingly oblivious to everything happening around them.
Zeta-Jones accompanied the picture with an affectionate message addressed directly to her husband.
“Happy birthday darling! A birthday kiss for my husband, so happy to share this special day with you. Love you!” Catherine wrote.
The emotional birthday post came shortly after another very different appearance from the actress. The previous day, Zeta-Jones stepped onto the red carpet in London for the premiere of her new series, Kill Jackie.
For the event, the star chose an elaborate creation by Zuhair Murad that highlighted her slender figure. The icy blue gown combined several glamorous details, including shimmering silver sequins and a structured corset-style bodice.
The lower half of the dress featured a sheer skirt, while a flowing cape fell elegantly from Catherine’s shoulders. The sparkling embellishments caught the light as she posed in front of photographers, giving the entire look an especially polished finish.
Zeta-Jones appeared comfortable in front of the cameras and happily posed in the dramatic ensemble throughout the premiere.
After the glamour of the London red carpet, however, her birthday tribute shifted attention away from fashion and back to her relationship with Douglas. The photograph of their kiss offered a much more private glimpse of the couple, while Catherine’s brief declaration made her feelings unmistakably clear.
