Paul McCartney showed that even after decades of global fame, family still comes first. The 83-year-old music legend appeared at Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday to support his daughter Stella McCartney as she presented her fall/winter 2026–2027 collection in Paris.
By his side was his wife, Nancy Shevell, who has been married to the former Beatles star for 14 years. The couple arrived together and quickly became one of the most talked-about guests at the show.
McCartney looked elegant in a navy suit layered over a crisp white shirt. He added a blue scarf to keep warm as he entered the venue. Shevell coordinated her look with a chic navy suit of her own, paired with a blue T-shirt underneath. She completed the outfit with a black clutch and aviator sunglasses, while her light brown hair fell in soft waves.

Before the show even began, McCartney made sure his daughter knew he was there for her. As he walked into the venue, one social media user captured the moment he enthusiastically called out, “Hi, Stell! I love you!”
Stella appeared confident and stylish in an oversized gray suit and white shirt as she prepared for the presentation.
The show itself included an unusual and memorable detail: several horses moved in synchronized steps as models walked the runway. The creative moment highlighted Stella’s long-standing commitment to sustainable fashion and her stance against the use of animal products such as leather in the industry.

The finale added a playful touch. A model appeared wearing a tank top with the words “My dad is a rock star.” Observers noticed Paul clapping enthusiastically, later telling his daughter that the show was “beautiful.”
Stella has been passionate about design since childhood. She once explained that growing up in such a famous family made her aware of the challenges of building her own identity.
She trained with some of the biggest names in fashion before becoming the creative director of Chloé in 1997 at just 26 years old. Stella has openly acknowledged that being the daughter of a music legend helped open doors for her.

At the same time, she has often said she understands how fortunate she has been — and how important it was to carve out her own place in the industry.
And judging by the proud smile on Paul McCartney’s face in Paris, it’s clear he believes she has done exactly that.
