Natalie Portman has entered a new chapter in her family life. The 45-year-old “Black Swan” star has welcomed her third child, her first baby with 46-year-old French musician Tanguy Destable. The newborn arrived on August 25 at a hospital in Paris.
The couple chose to keep the happy event away from public attention. They did not make an announcement after the birth, and for now, they are also keeping two important details private: the baby’s sex and name have not been disclosed.

Their attempt to enjoy the first days of parenthood quietly didn’t last long. Portman and Destable were photographed outside with their newborn during a walk. The baby remained asleep in a carrier strapped to the musician as the couple made their way through Paris.
The actress dressed for comfort rather than attention. She stepped out in a loose, relaxed outfit that kept her post-pregnancy figure covered. Destable appeared equally protective of their privacy. At one point, he tried to hide the newborn from photographers by using his shirt as a shield.
For Portman, this is her third experience of motherhood. She has two older children from her marriage to choreographer Benjamin Millepied: 15-year-old Aleph and nine-year-old Amalia. Destable was already a father before beginning his relationship with the actress and has two sons from an earlier relationship.

Portman spent 11 years married to Millepied. Their marriage ultimately fell apart after his infidelity, and the former spouses officially divorced in 2024.
Her personal life moved in a new direction the following year, when she began dating Destable. The relationship with the French musician marked Portman’s first major romance after the end of her marriage.
The couple later prepared to welcome their first child together, and now their blended family has grown once again. While Portman and Destable are still keeping the newest member of the family largely out of the spotlight, their Paris walk offered the first glimpse of them settling into life with their newborn.
