There is a new reason to celebrate in Ciara and Russell Wilson’s home. The 40-year-old singer is pregnant, with the couple preparing to welcome another child together. For Ciara, the arrival will make her a mother of five, while it will be her fourth baby with 37-year-old Russell.
Instead of simply announcing the pregnancy with a written statement, the pair delivered the news through a series of visual clues on Instagram. One of the most noticeable moments came in a video that put Ciara’s visibly rounded stomach in the spotlight.
Another part of the announcement focused on a clothesline. Ciara hung four plain white T-shirts beside a much smaller onesie, using the five pieces of clothing to symbolize the family’s newest addition.
The number five appeared once again when Ciara and Russell stood together for another image. Both raised an open hand toward the camera, showing five fingers as a playful nod to the fact that this will be Ciara’s fifth child.
