One woman took on the challenge of revamping an old Soviet sideboard for her mother-in-law.

Hello! I’d like to share with you another painting project I recently completed. My mother-in-law had been asking for quite some time to have her old German sideboard repainted. Interestingly, she owns not just one but five of these sideboards! So, I figured I’d start with repainting one. Taking her preferences into account, she requested a white finish with gold bas-reliefs for an elegant touch.
For the repainting, I used high-quality paint. I applied a light tint over the bas-reliefs for added depth and then used another shade of gold to highlight certain accents and add a little shimmer. The decorative elements were created by hand using silicone molds, which was a delicate and time-consuming process due to the intricate and fine details involved.
