Today’s heroes became spouses who have stormed the network with the phenomenal makeover of their old and miserable apartment. The owner works as a flight attendant, but her second profession is a designer which enabled them to make the process considerably easier and save money by not hiring an interior designer.
The married couple decided not to waste any time and gave their old and boring apartment a fantastic makeover. They didn’t designate the space as the previous layout suited the owners quite well and they were on a budget. They replaced the front door with a new one with a mirror on the inside.
An open storage system with a small yellow banquette appeared at the entrance. There, one can now see a wardrobe as well as a shoe rack. What concerns the kitchen, it has been totally redesigned. Now there is a corner set here and the facades are in two colors.
A decision was made to cover the walls with wallpaper and linoleum with imitation wood was chosen for the floor. White rectangular tiles were chosen for the apron and a round dining table appeared in the corner.
Paintable wallpaper was chosen for the walls in the living room, but a decision was made to paint them. Their choice fell on laminate for the flooring. The room also features a folding sofa which is designed in an innovative way. The TV zone is opposite, as usual.
What concerns the bedroom, it features a double bed with a soft headboard. The wall behind it was accentuated using wallpaper with a floral pattern. Closer to the window one sees a special place for a full-fledged working corner. An open bookcase appeared opposite.
The owners decided to prime the old tiles and coat them with moisture-resistant paint. PVC tiles were used on the floor. They also made the countertop where the sink was installed. The room also features a washing machine.
