It’s time to stop buying green onions from the market! 🌱🧅 Now, we can grow them ourselves and all we need is a plastic bottle and a little soil! 🙌 I have brought a secret method how to have a year-round onion cultivation with minimal effort and no budget! 😋👌 Even the beginners can do this! 😉 I will show how to do it step by step in this article! 👇

Cultivating green onions indoors is a budget-friendly and practical solution.

Setting Up a Bottle Planter
Start by selecting a good-quality onion—shallots work particularly well.

Prepare a planting container by cutting a 1.5-liter plastic bottle in half. Flip the top portion upside down and fit it into the bottom half.

Fill the bottle with store-bought potting mix. Arrange the onions on top of the soil and trim their tops slightly.

You can either suspend the setup using strings or simply place it on a windowsill. Water thoroughly right after planting.

Growth and Harvesting
Tiny shoots will emerge within three days.

By the fourth week, the green onions will be fully developed and ready to use.

This simple method enables year-round onion cultivation with minimal effort, making it perfect even for beginners.
