Designers transformed a compact studio apartment into a practical yet inviting home for a young family and their two cats. Despite the limited square footage, the space now features distinct zones for cooking, relaxing, and working.
Functional Layout
Combined Living and Kitchen Area
Instead of separating the living and kitchen spaces, the designers opted for an open-plan layout. The 6 m² kitchen now serves multiple purposes, including:
Cooking area with all essential appliances.
Dining nook featuring a cozy, space-saving table.
Guest seating with a compact, stylish sofa.
Bedroom and Private Space
The apartment’s single room was transformed into a dedicated sleeping and personal space, incorporating:
Workstation to accommodate remote work or study.
Ample storage with cleverly placed cabinets and shelving.
The walls were painted in calming shades of light blue and soft gray, while quartz vinyl flooring added durability and warmth. A balcony with panoramic windows enhances the room’s brightness and openness.
