This tiny apartment’s new owner is a well-to-do woman who is currently promoting home staging which is a kind of preparation of an apartment for rent or sale based on psychological, marketing and aesthetic components. To put it simply, this is decorating an apartment to make the interior look more expensive and pleasant-to-the-end.
She got this apartment not for herself, but had plans to sell or rent it out. The interior was already sick and tired of its miserable look, so renovation work began shortly after the purchase.
The first task was to get rid of the old decoration before starting the renovation. Non-load-bearing partitions were demolished and re-erected, taking into account the new layout.
Since the bathroom was slightly larger after the remodeling, the hallway became a little smaller in area. A decision was made to decorate the floor with laminate, but the walls were painted in two colors: white and blue. They installed a hanging console to the left of the front door, opposite which a large mirror and a bright ottoman found their place.
The entrance to the kitchen had already been moved into the living room by the previous owners which was liked by the new owner. Despite its compactness, the kitchen has all the necessities. On the left is a corner set with white facades.
The apron is lined with glossy gray-blue tiles. The tabletop is made of laminated chipboard. The slopes near the window were painted in a bright color with washable paint. They made the window sill out of solid wood.
They covered the walls with light wallpaper for painting. A stylish sofa was placed against the wall, which has become one of the most striking feature in the room. A decorative panel was hung above it, and a television zone was organized opposite it.
It seemed appropriate to improve the balcony. The walls and ceiling are decorated with white clapboard. The floor is decked.
In order to slightly increase the area of the bedroom, it was decided to move the partition towards the living room. In the center of the room there is a large bed.
A full-fledged dressing room with an area of 3.9 m² was organized here as a storage system.
The bathroom walls were torn down and rebuilt. They used white tiles and moisture-resistant orange paint to decorate the walls.
To the right of the entrance one can see a niche where a washing machine was placed. And to add a graphic touch to the interior, a decision was made to add accents in the form of black plumbing fixtures (towel rail, faucet, shower, etc.).
