Today’s heroine got this old apartment as inheritance so it was essential for her to maintain its historical value and add more stylishness and minimalism at the same time. This was far not the easiest task but she clearly clarified her goal and soon got started.

Her choice fell on Scandi interior. It was the closest to her heart since she would live in Scandinavia in youth and even now goes there periodically. The standard layout has been optimized to make it more functional. The whole room was divided into a living room and a bedroom.

The door to the living room was moved closer to the windows so that the entrance first opened into the living room, and only then to the bedroom. The walls in the living room were painted in a deep shade and the dark palette is balanced by an abundance of natural light.

The sofa in a mustard color became one of the accent elements of the interior and gave even more zest to the overall décor. The paintings here play a big role as well which add even more historical charm.

What concerns the kitchen, the corner set was made to order and all the equipment was integrated into it, except for the fridge. The color of the facades echoes the decoration of the walls in the living room.

The wall behind the headboard in the bedroom was enlivened with wallpaper with a floral print and framed with moldings at the top. They installed a built-in storage here too

A decision was made to leave the bathroom and the toilet separate according to the owners’ preference. However, they were aesthetically linked by color schemes and finishing methods. They chose blue tiles as an accent and laid terrazzo pattern on the flooring. Here, a touch of Scandi was added too.
