Today, I want to share an easy way to preserve corn so you can enjoy it all winter long. Although the marinade is simple, the taste is absolutely delicious – just like freshly cooked corn.
Here’s what you’ll need:
🌽 Ingredients:
-
10 small ears of corn
-
Boiling water
-
1 tbsp sugar per jar
-
1.5 tbsp salt per jar

How to prepare it:
-
Wash your jars thoroughly (I used 3-liter jars for convenience) and sterilize both the jars and lids.
-
Clean the corn ears well, removing all husks and silk.
-
Place the corn vertically and tightly into the jars.
-
Add the specified amount of sugar and salt to each jar.
-
Pour boiling water into the jars, covering the corn completely.
-
Sterilize the filled jars for at least 30 minutes.
-
Seal tightly with lids, then flip each jar upside down and let it cool completely.
-
Once cooled, store the jars in your basement or pantry.
Prepared this way, the corn will keep perfectly for several years. It’s ideal for salads or as a quick snack anytime you crave that fresh summer taste.

Enjoy your cooking and happy preserving!
