Sally Field is remarkable for her role in «Gidget» from 1965-1966 which opened many doors leading her to achieve greater heights and accomplishments as a Hollywood actress. Many remember her from her role in «The Flying Nun» too.
Interestingly enough, her breakthrough role was in the 1976 film «Sybil». Her appearance in «Norma Rae» brought her an Academy Award nomination. It goes without saying that her role in the film industry will never be forgotten.
What concerns her personal life, it was fraught with struggles and hardship. She got divorced twice and had two kids with S. Craig. Despite all the difficulties, Field still remained dedicated to her career and kept acting.
It was in 2005 that she was diagnosed with osteoporosis. Yet, these years seem to never pass for her and she still looks beautiful.
