Brad Pitt has opened up about the women who truly captivated him – and it’s neither Jennifer Aniston nor Angelina Jolie. The 61-year-old actor made a rare personal revelation while appearing on the New Heights podcast.
Speaking with hosts Jason and Travis Kelce, Pitt reminisced about his early days in Hollywood, when he worked on the iconic film Thelma & Louise. He recalled meeting Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon for the first time. “When I first saw Geena and Susan, I was completely blown away. It literally took my breath away, and I couldn’t recover for a while,” he admitted.
Pitt played the charming drifter J.D. in the movie – his first major role – and shared a steamy scene with Geena Davis. The actor confessed how nervous he was at the time. “Geena was so sweet, kind, and gentle. That scene took two days to film, and she really looked out for me,” he shared.
Interestingly, Susan Sarandon was also impressed by the young Pitt. In a 2021 interview, she revealed that she immediately sensed he was more than just a handsome face. “He really impressed me with his sense of humor. I thought, ‘This guy is interesting, he’s not just a pretty boy,’” she said.
During the podcast, Pitt also spoke about life’s challenges and his love for sports. He mentioned that he supports the football team Travis Kelce plays for – the Kansas City Chiefs – and thanked him for his performance in the championship game, despite their loss.
Recently, in another podcast appearance, Pitt discussed attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and his journey with addiction recovery.
