Jessie J has opened up about her recent breast cancer surgery, sharing her emotional journey with fans.
The 37-year-old singer posted a heartfelt update on social media following her operation. Her post included a series of photos from the hospital, capturing moments before the surgery and her relief afterwards.
Her biggest sources of strength during this time were her partner, Chanan Safir Colman, and their two-year-old son, Sky Safir, who also appeared in the photos.
“In this post are the highlights of the last 48 hours. I will always show the good and the tough moments of any journey I go through. I am so grateful to my surgeon, all the nurses who took care of me, and my family and friends who came to visit,” Jessie wrote in her caption, expressing her gratitude.
She also shared that she has now been discharged from the hospital: “I’m home to rest and wait for the results.”
Back in June, Jessie revealed that she had been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer. “The last two months have been hard,” she wrote at the time, sharing her battle with followers.
