Will Smith found a unique way to mark the 26th anniversary of Wild Wild West. The actor surprised fans by posting a rather revealing photo on social media.

In the picture, the Hollywood star poses wearing nothing but a cowboy hat strategically placed to cover himself. Taken during the filming of the 1999 western, the shot quickly drew attention, with fans praising the 56-year-old for his toned physique.

Smith captioned the cheeky post with humor, apologizing for the choice of photo by writing that it was “the only one he could find.” Followers flooded the comments with compliments and laughter.

In Wild Wild West, directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, Smith played a secret service agent tasked with protecting President Ulysses Grant from a dangerous conspiracy. Despite its star-studded cast, which included Kevin Kline and Salma Hayek, and its massive budget, the film turned out to be a flop, earning scathing reviews and even winning the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Picture of the Year.

Smith has since admitted that Wild Wild West was his biggest career misstep, sharing that his biggest regret was turning down the role in The Matrix to star in this project.
