He saved his grandfather’s life. This clever little boy saved the life of his grandfather by following his knowledge

It’s of vital importance for kids to be aware of some basic things about how to respond to emergencies.

Aiden Smith is only 6 but luckily, he knows how to use his smartwatch’s blood sugar test kit.

When Clark had a hypoglycemic attack, Aiden took a test and checked Grandpa’s sugar levels.

It showed only 1.0 but the boy was calm. He started giving Clark candies, and thankfully, the older man’s blood sugar increased to 3.6. What a favor!

“Aiden followed me to check my blood sugar on a daily basis so he knew its usage.

Then he ran over, grabbed the jelly beans, and rapidly put a couple in my mouth. He was very quiet. It took me nearly ten minutes to recover,” said Clark.

The family members were astonished and amazed to know about Aiden’s wonderful feat.

“I’m very proud, he really saved my life,” said the older man.

“I was really astonished. I couldn’t have done anything even if I knew what was happening because I was far from home,” Clark’s wife Sandra added.

Smith’s mother, Hayley Farren, mentioned that everyone at home actually is aware of the usage of the test because they had been monitoring Clark’s blood sugar levels for years. But as a matter of fact, it was the premier time someone actually did it. Smith’s rapid wit saved his grandfather.

“I don’t think Aiden even realized how crucial deed he was doing. He saved his grandfather’s life. “He would undoubtedly be in a coma in case it wasn’t for Aiden,” Farren said.

When I asked him about it, he simply answered “Mom, I just knew what I had to do.”

“He is such a cute, loving boy. He always thinks of others more than himself. I think it’s of vital importance for kids to know some basic things about how to respond to emergencies. It can save a life,” the woman added.

Such a clever boy. Good job, Aiden.
