The former couple came together at Vanderbilt University on Friday for Apple’s graduation ceremony, creating a heartwarming family moment that quickly caught attention online. Despite ending their marriage back in 2014, the actress and the Coldplay frontman appeared completely comfortable together while supporting their daughter on one of the biggest days of her life.
Chris arrived at the event with his son Moses Martin, and the father-son duo looked effortlessly stylish for the occasion. The singer kept his look simple in an all-black outfit featuring a blazer, while Moses chose gray trousers, a pale blue shirt, and a white sweater casually draped across his shoulders.
Meanwhile, Gwyneth made a glamorous entrance alongside her husband Brad Falchuk. The Oscar-winning actress wore a flowing light blue maxi dress paired with a striking red jacket and matching heels, while Brad opted for a polished look with beige trousers, a blue button-up shirt, and a cardigan. The pair held hands as they entered the graduation event together.
But the real focus of the day was Apple herself. The 22-year-old graduate looked elegant in a white sundress and black kitten heels while carrying her graduation cap and wearing her academic gown. Apple officially graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Law, History and Society.
Although she originally pursued law studies, Apple has admitted she may eventually follow her parents into the entertainment industry. In recent months, she has openly spoken about her complicated feelings surrounding growing up in the spotlight and trying to carve out her own identity.
Earlier this month, Apple shared emotional photos from her final days at Vanderbilt on Instagram. The images showed her spending time with friends around campus and near the university library as she reflected on the end of a major chapter in her life.
After years of growing up around Hollywood, many believe it may only be a matter of time before Apple Martin steps fully into the spotlight herself.
