North West attracted plenty of attention during a public appearance in Los Angeles alongside her father Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori.
The 13-year-old daughter of Kanye and Kim Kardashian attended an event at ComplexCon, where the trio appeared together in coordinated dark outfits. North stood out from the group thanks to her bright blue hair and collection of eye-catching accessories.
Kanye stayed close to his familiar personal style for the occasion. The rapper wore a leather jacket with black trousers, keeping his outfit understated and almost entirely black.
Bianca, meanwhile, chose a noticeably more covered-up look than many of the outfits associated with her recent public appearances. She wore a tightly belted coat with knee-high boots, creating a sleek monochrome silhouette.
North added considerably more color to the family look. Her long blue hair was styled into two ponytails, while she wore a black sweatshirt, skirt and chunky boots.
She completed the outfit with temporary facial piercing accessories and metallic grills, details that immediately caught photographers’ attention.
North appeared cheerful while posing for cameras beside Bianca, who married Kanye in 2022. The two seemed comfortable together, with Bianca looking warmly toward her stepdaughter during the appearance.
Kanye also appeared to be in good spirits while speaking with other guests and was even photographed smiling during the event.
The rapper shares four children with his former wife Kim Kardashian. In addition to North, they are parents to Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, seven.
North’s interest in unconventional accessories has attracted attention before. At 12, she appeared with two small silver pieces below the knuckle of the middle finger on her right hand, described as a type of microdermal piercing placed beneath the upper layer of skin.
The teenager’s increasingly distinctive personal style has also generated criticism directed at Kim. Some online commenters have questioned how much freedom North should have when experimenting with fashion and body accessories at her age.
Kim has previously responded cautiously to criticism surrounding her daughter’s choices rather than becoming involved in a prolonged public argument.
For this latest family appearance, however, North once again demonstrated that she has already developed a recognizable aesthetic of her own, with the vivid blue hair, metallic details and oversized footwear making her particularly noticeable beside Kanye and Bianca.
