Rumer Willis isn’t letting assumptions slide. The 37-year-old daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore took to Instagram Stories on Monday to shut down claims that she relies financially on her A-list parents while raising her daughter, Louetta, as a single mom.
The backlash began after Rumer shared a glimpse into her packed daily routine, calling it a “never-ending” to-do list. Her tasks included everything from drinking 64 ounces of water and meal prepping to dating and organizing afterschool activities.

Instead of sympathy, she says she was met with dismissive comments. One message she reposted suggested she has built-in “backup” and would never “end up on the street,” implying that her family safety net makes her struggles irrelevant.

Rumer didn’t hold back. She labeled the criticism “uninformed” and “rude,” making it clear that assumptions about her finances are off-base. According to her, she supports herself and her child through hard work.

“I work 4 jobs,” she emphasized, pushing back on the idea that she lives comfortably off her parents’ wealth.

For Rumer, the message was simple: having famous parents doesn’t erase the effort she puts into building her own life.
