This giant dog just became a world record holder—and his hilarious reaction to everyday things is priceless

“Meet Kevin—the world’s tallest dog who’s terrified of vacuums” 🐶📏 Standing over 3 feet tall, this gentle Great Dane from Iowa may look like a giant, but he runs the other way at the sound of a vacuum. See the record-breaking pup and the hilarious moments that made him a fan favorite in the article below 👇

Say hello to Kevin—a supersized sweetheart from West Des Moines, Iowa, who now holds the title of the tallest living dog on the planet.

This massive Great Dane towers over most other dogs, measuring 3 feet 2 inches (0.97 meters) from paw to shoulder, according to the Guinness World Records. But while Kevin’s size might seem intimidating, his personality is anything but.

He lives a cozy life with his owners, Tracy and Roger Wolfe, along with their kids Alexander and Ava—and an entire mini-zoo of other animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and even horses.

Despite being the biggest of the bunch, Kevin is famously soft-hearted… and hilariously afraid of one very ordinary thing: the vacuum cleaner.

“He panics the moment he hears it,” Tracy said in an interview. “If it gets anywhere near him, he bolts like it’s a monster.”

Even getting an official measurement for his world record wasn’t easy. Just the sight of the measuring tape made Kevin uneasy—but his family helped him through it.

When he’s not avoiding cleaning equipment, Kevin prefers to stretch out on the couch and nap the day away. According to his humans, he’s “an expert at holding down the furniture.”

It’s that perfect mix of impressive height and lovable awkwardness that’s made Kevin a worldwide favorite.
