This man’s guinness-worthy burp is one of the loudest sounds you’ll ever hear!

It might sound amusing, but let’s face it—neither you nor I could achieve this feat. Otherwise, the record wouldn’t stand! According to official reports, Australian Neville Sharp has now claimed the title for the world’s loudest burp.

While most people find burping impolite, others turn it into a competition, chugging carbonated drinks to see who can produce the most impressive belch. But then there’s Neville Sharp—who didn’t just play around but actually trained for five years to break the record!

Sharp recalls that his burping talent first became apparent when he was just six years old. Over the years, he perfected his skill, but it was his wife who gave him the push to aim for greatness. Her logic? If he wasn’t going to stop, he might as well become the best at it.

The challenge was no joke—the previous record stood at a staggering 109.9 decibels, louder than a typical alarm clock. Determined to go beyond that, Sharp dedicated himself to practice, refining his technique until he could produce a truly earth-shaking sound.

His official attempt followed strict guidelines set by the Australian Records Association. After months of preparation, he delivered a historic burp in August, and just recently, Guinness World Records confirmed his achievement—an astonishing 112.4 decibels!

For context, that’s about as loud as a rock concert or a chainsaw in action.

Interestingly, the women’s record remains unbeaten since 2009, when Elisa Cagnoni recorded a burp measuring 107 decibels.

So while most people may take their burping skills for granted, Sharp has officially proven that, with enough dedication, even the most unexpected talents can make history!
