Today’s incredible story is about one family who got sick and tired of their old and miserable-looking closet. The man advised to throw it away, while his wife had other plans. She decided to transform it instead of buying a new one.
She strongly holds the opinion that they should also take care of their environment and not to throw it away. Soon, she started working. She got the paint from Titanlux in Oceano Azul which as she thought would perfectly suit.
Before she began painting, she removed the veneer from the ends and began sanding to get a smooth surface. The woman marked and attached moldings on the cabinet doors, which gave it unique charm and some kind of elegance.
Then, she painted the moldings with a narrow painting brush covering the remaining surface with a roller. In order to achieve an even color, she decided to apply two layers.
So as to give the surface long-lasting protection, she coated the cabinet with transparent matte varnish which, luckily, worked. This, however, was not the end yet. She covered the back wall of the closet with stylish wallpaper and vanished it.
It took her no more than six days to complete the whole restoration. From a boring and miserable closet it turned into a piece of art or a masterpiece. All in all, she spent 85 dollars.
