The couple came to adopt an elderly dog, but they couldn’t find him 🤔
The old and ill dog named Father was taken to the sanctuary in Canada by his family before Christmas. The dog had a usual illness for elderly dogs.
His illness isn’t still examined and the only thing we know is that his own immune system attacks the central nervous system.
The poor elderly dog wasn’t able to walk as a result of the limp he has developed and needed assistance in walking.
His condition worsened day by day and he was only able to move with the help of a wheelchair and it made him even more unwanted.
He hopefully follows all the visitors willing to be adopted, but every time becomes more and more disappointed. The people visiting the sanctuary didn’t even pay attention to him.
One of the workers of the shelter told, that people should see him as a pet full of love and affection he is really to give.
He was already living in the shelter for 200 days and the staff was worried for him not to pass away there.
But happily, a miracle occurred. A family came to the shelter and went to Father’s kennel. The couple Erin Winn and Josh Weichel saw his heartbreaking video and were touched to the point, that they came to adopt him.
But when the couple entered into the shelter Father wasn’t there.
