“She’s back — and the first photo says everything” 😱🎬 Anne Hathaway just dropped a stunning look from The Devil Wears Prada 2 — and fans are spiraling. See the iconic outfit and what it means in the article below 👇📸
Anne Hathaway has officially stepped back into one of her most iconic roles. The 42-year-old actress returned as Andy Sachs, filming scenes for the much-anticipated sequel in New York City.

After years of uncertainty about joining a second installment, Hathaway confirmed her return by posting a photo from the set. Dressed in a tailored black pinstripe vest with no blouse underneath and slim-fitting trousers, she exuded sleek confidence. Her look was completed with pointed black leather heels, a pearl necklace, and a few delicate rings.
Beaming with a bright smile, Anne captioned the photo simply: “Andy Sachs 2025,” followed by the hashtag #dwp2.
She was also spotted filming on location in the heart of Manhattan, looking sharp in the same suit, now styled with oversized sunglasses and a structured black handbag. In the scene, her character was seen walking briskly and speaking animatedly on the phone, signaling that Andy’s career has soared since the events of the original film.

In a playful nod to the past, Anne later teased fans with a short clip of herself in a modest powder-blue sweater—the very one that became symbolic of her character’s fashion journey. But this time, instead of a manual toothbrush, she used an electric one, subtly hinting at how much both Andy and the world have changed. “On my way to work,” she wrote with a wink.
The blue sweater scene has since become a cult favorite, symbolizing the power of the fashion industry to shape trends from the runway down to everyday wardrobes.

Filming is now underway in New York. The sequel picks up with a changing fashion landscape: Miranda Priestly, still as poised and commanding as ever, must now navigate the decline of traditional print magazines and redefine her role in a rapidly evolving industry.
The sequel was first hinted at last year when screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna began working on the script. Though Hathaway was initially hesitant, producers eventually convinced her to return. The film will once again be directed by David Frankel.

In addition to Hathaway and Meryl Streep, familiar faces like Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Tracy Thoms, and Tibor Feldman are all reprising their roles. The cast will also feature fresh additions, including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, and Pauline Chalamet.
The film is scheduled for release on May 1, 2026 — exactly twenty years after the original captivated audiences.
