At first, Laura’s idea was to turn the space into a cinema or a bar. However, it took her three years to work through the bureaucratic challenges, and during this time, her plans evolved. Ultimately, she decided to transform it into her own personal living space rather than a public venue.
Undeterred by the challenges ahead, Laura took on the majority of the work herself. She tore down old walls, constructed new ones, rewired the electrical systems, and gave the entire space a fresh coat of paint. Her determination and creativity slowly breathed new life into what was once a dark, decaying restroom, turning it into a bright, welcoming apartment.
In 2011, Laura purchased the property, and after three years of hard work, her dream came to life in 2016. The final result was nothing short of remarkable. The kitchen exuded a modern and functional feel, while the living room was cozy and inviting. The bedroom offered a peaceful escape, and the bathroom combined practicality with elegance. The entrance was designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding architecture, ensuring that passersby would have no idea that a private apartment was hidden behind the unassuming facade.
