The 43-year-old Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima made a triumphant return to the runway at the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, showcasing a leaner, “healthier” physique.
Appearing on October 15, 2024, Lima wowed the audience, who admired her transformation since she retired from Victoria’s Secret in 2018 after almost two decades and welcomed her third child in 2022.
When she first announced her retirement at age 37, Lima took to Instagram to express her gratitude. In a post she later deleted, she thanked the brand, saying, “Dear Victoria, thank you for giving me wings, teaching me to fly, and sharing your secrets with me.”
Reflecting on her final show, Lima told People, “This is my 18th show, and my excitement today feels just like it did on my first day.” She called her retirement the high point of her career.
