The heroine of this story bought this apartment for subsequent rental. This was a usual one-room apartment in an old house dating back to 1966. To say that its initial condition left a lot to be desired is nothing to say: thus, a good but inexpensive renovation was required here.
Before the renovation, the entrance lobby appeared very gloomy and old-fashioned, so it was changed beyond recognition. The front door was replaced with a new one with a white interior. Washable paint in two colors was chosen for the walls.
An elegant black coat rack appeared on the left side, next to which a miniature ottoman and a mirror were placed. Opposite the front door there was a small storage system. The door to this closet was painted the same color as the walls.
The new owners wanted the kitchen to remain within its boundaries. The walls are painted in the same way as the entrance area – white and green. The set is installed on the right side of the entrance and the facades imitate wood. Rectangular green tiles were chosen to cover the backsplash in the kitchen.
The flooring here is classic laminate. In addition to white and green, there was an orange stripe under the ceiling. At the entrance there was a gray sofa of a budget model, which can be unfolded to a sleeping place. A full size double bed in a rich green shade appeared here and a small TV hung opposite it.
A decision was made to leave the bathroom separate, as this is as convenient as possible. The decoration and heated towel rail were completely replaced. The wet areas were tiled with green tiles, and the rest were painted a neutral shade.
