Popular singer Shakira finally made it clear why she divorced Gerard Pique
As it has recently turned out, iconic and successful singer Shakira divorced Pique because of his betrayers and the news literally left every single one speechless. It is worth mentioning that they had been in an inseparable relationship for 12 years.
Shakira always strongly refused to make it clear why she divorced his ex-husband, Gerard, whereas recently, she found it appropriate to share the true reason.
As she admitted, it was extremely hard for her to talk over this, however, she eventually found enough courage to explain the situation.
Shakira confessed that, for a long period of time, she was trying to hide the reason flatly refusing to share it with the entire world. She was concerned about her followers, parents and, for the most part, her children.
The iconic woman added that she was constantly followed by photojournalists and there was nowhere she could hide herself. All people were interested in was her personal life.
The popular singer, anyway, wasn’t ready to share the details claiming that she sacrificed her career for her husband’s sake.
A quick reminder: Pique and the singer began dating in 2010, but revealed their relationship in a year. The ex-spouses have had two adorable children: 9-year-old Milan and 7-year-old Sasha.
According to the iconic woman, the most important thing for her is to be a good mother for her kids and be in a strong relationship with them.
