Pax Jolie-Pitt Steps Into the Spotlight Alone — and Sundance Took Notice

Pax, the son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, made a rare public appearance without either of his famous parents — and it didn’t go unnoticed.

Pax attended a screening of Self Custody on Friday, January 23, during the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The low-key appearance marked one of the few times he has stepped out publicly on his own at a major industry event.

For the outing, Pax kept things simple and understated. The style felt relaxed, fitting seamlessly into the Sundance atmosphere.

While Pax was not involved in the film itself, his presence wasn’t accidental. According to an insider, he was personally invited by the team behind Self Custody. The source added that Pax has recently been in conversations with Garrett and Fernando about potentially producing upcoming projects and is currently doing extremely well.

Though he tends to stay out of the spotlight, Pax is not new to the film world. He appeared in his mother’s 2014 Maleficent and later lent his voice to the character in Kung Fu Panda 3.

His quiet Sundance appearance suggested a growing comfort behind the scenes rather than in front of the cameras. Without red carpets or headlines, Pax seemed focused on connections, conversations, and the future — on his own terms.
