At 50, Angelina Jolie has stepped into her next major project, revealing a fresh look and a new role. The Hollywood star appeared on set in London, transformed with a platinum blonde bob wig that made her nearly unrecognizable.
In her latest role, Jolie leads Anxious People, drawn from the novel by Swedish author Fredrik Backman. The drama unfolds during the holiday season as Zara, a banker she portrays, reluctantly attends an apartment showing and unexpectedly becomes one of several hostages taken by an inexperienced criminal. Marc Forster’s direction promises a gripping and emotional adaptation.
On the London set, Jolie was accompanied by her 24-year-old son Maddox, who often supports her in her work. Her elegant character style included a white silk midi dress with a bow-tied collar, a flowing skirt, and a belted wool poncho. She completed the look with classic pumps, later swapping into a large puffer jacket to stay warm between takes.
Stylists added a dramatic touch with a bold brooch, gold earrings, and striking makeup: pale skin, smoky eyes, defined eyeliner, and bright red lips. She will be joined in the film by Jason Segel and Aimee Lou Wood.
