Heath Ledger will forever be remembered as one of Hollywood’s most iconic actors, especially for his unforgettable portrayal of the Joker in The Dark Knight, a role that earned him a posthumous Oscar.

Ledger’s passing came only four months after his split from Michelle Williams, whom he had met on set. In 2005, the couple welcomed their daughter, Matilda, who quickly became the light of his life.
