The incredible story of a plus-size girl who didn’t give up and became a ballerina
Today’s incredible and motivating story is about Jessica Bell who has always been passionate about dancing since her early childhood, the age of three. Whereas while she was growing up, it was gradually getting harder for the ballerina to continue dancing.
What is more, she soon was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries and a series of treatment was necessarily to be received as soon as possible. At that time, doctors strongly forbade her to lose weight.
As Jessica admits if ballerina’s size exceeds 38-40, she automatically flies out of the profession.
Yet, she kept losing weight for the sake of her dream. Unfortunately, the results of the examinations showed that her health was in extreme danger and the situation could get even worse unless she stopped losing weight.
After a while, she became a mother and gained over 20 kilos. It became quite clear that she should give up on her career and it was time to eventually accept the way she looked.
Jessica added that she dances 40 hours a week and isn’t going to stop since she is more than sure this is her calling and she simply doesn’t imagine her life without dancing. Even her extra weight and poor health fail to prevent her from giving up on her passion.
It should be noted that the strong-willed girl was invited to play the Black Swan in the series “Big Ballet”. It was her determination and self-confidence that made her overall-recognized and highly respected.
Jessica encourages others not to ever give up on their dreams and dance regardless of all the hardship and obstacles.
