Optical illusions have a way of turning a simple image into a major challenge, and one viral drawing has been leaving people scratching their heads for years. At first glance, the artwork appears to show nothing more than a young woman with long flowing hair, smiling as she talks on the phone.
The sketch, originally created in 2013 using only pencil, paper, and plaster, looks fairly straightforward. The woman is wearing a cropped top and a pleated skirt while casually tossing her hair to one side.

According to fans of the puzzle, four different women are hidden within the same drawing. While most people quickly notice the main figure, finding the other three is where things become much more difficult.
The first hidden woman can be found along the left side of the image. If you look carefully, the outline of the main figure’s arm creates the profile of another woman facing away. Her nose, lips, and eyelashes become visible once your brain adjusts to the illusion.
The next hidden figure is even trickier. The main woman’s forearm, raised toward her ear, also forms the shape of a smaller full-body woman wearing a long dress with her arms lifted upward.
The final hidden woman is considered the hardest to find. Puzzle enthusiasts suggest focusing on the area around the main figure’s stomach. There, subtle lines combine to create the face of another woman, complete with pursed lips and delicate facial features.
It’s no surprise that this clever illusion continues to spread online. While some people spot all four women within seconds, others stare at the drawing for several minutes before discovering the hidden figures. The real question is: how many can you find?
