Princess Charlotte made her international sporting debut in Switzerland — and did so in style, wearing one of her favorite dresses while passionately supporting England’s women’s football team alongside her father.

Prince William, 43, took his 10-year-old daughter to the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 final in Basel, where England’s Lionesses faced off against Spain at St. Jakob-Park stadium. Joining the British royals in the VIP box were Spanish royal sisters — Princess Leonor, 19, and Princess Sofia, 18.

For Charlotte, this marked her first time attending a sporting event outside of the UK. She wore a black chiffon dress adorned with white polka dots, featuring flutter sleeves and a flared skirt falling just below the knee — a design from the affordable label Guess, previously seen on her during last year’s Wimbledon final. This time, she paired it with a cropped beige cardigan and classic white Mary Jane shoes. Her blonde hair was worn loose, and her accessories included two colorful beaded bracelets on one wrist and a braided string bracelet on the other.

Throughout the intense 120-minute match, Charlotte showed just how invested she was — flinching during tense moments, throwing her fists into the air, covering her face, and cheering loudly along with the crowd. Her enthusiasm was impossible to miss.

Confident and poised in the public eye, the young royal was seen exchanging smiles with the Spanish princesses and playfully interacting with her father and other guests. In one joyful moment, she was caught smiling brightly as she gave high-fives to Prince William and the head of the Football Association.

As the match reached its thrilling conclusion, England triumphed over Spain in a penalty shootout with a final score of 3–1. Chloe Kelly scored the winning goal, sparking celebration across the stadium. Charlotte, beaming with excitement, joined her father on the pitch to congratulate the team and participate in the award ceremony. When she asked to hold one of the gold medals, William smiled and happily obliged.

A joint statement released on behalf of the Prince and his daughter read:
“What a game! Lionesses, you are European champions and we are so proud of the entire team. Enjoy this moment, England. — W. & Charlotte.”
