One day in a small town, 65-year-old Terry Meredith decided to make the dream of many children come true and built a tree house with a fabulous view. Now he happily invites guests to his house.
Terry Meredith built a tree house that is a wonderful place for adults to relax. It all started because Terry was planning to cut down a tree in his garden, but he suddenly changed his mind after climbing onto it.
«The tree was blocking the sunset and I decided to cut it down but when I reached the top I was surprised. I just couldn’t believe how great the view was just 50 meters away»․
Instead of leaving the stump in his yard, Terry decided to create a cozy tree house. Terry did most of the work with his own hands, with occasional help from friends and family. «I can work well with wood, so building the house was not difficult for me. The work took eight months»․
The house itself is made of pine, and the stairs are made from local oak and chestnut. In total, Terry spent £8,000 on construction. At a height of 5 meters above the ground there is a room with a barbecue. But the site with its stunning view wins hearts.
