Hayek admitted why she didn’t act in comedies: The reason will surprise you all
One of today’s overall-recognized, most successful and incredibly talented Mexican actress Salma Hayek admitted that she doesn’t feel the influence of sexuality on her career anymore. As the iconic woman shared, she always desired to star in comedies.
She admitted previously people were convinced that she shouldn’t be smart and funny in the 90s. Everything radically changed when she started working with producer A. Sandler who directed the comedy «Grown Ups», thus paving the way for Salma.
«I am in a situation in my life where I don’t think my sexuality is the only thing that is valued more. But if that were the case, I wouldn’t care, because I’ve gained enough respect from really important people, and I feel like they see beyond that.»
The well-known actress recalls that she managed to achieve great success in every genre and now is truly proud of that since it was, in fact, not only her appearance that attracted and satisfied people.
It is worth mentioning that the stunning woman has been married to a French businessman, billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault since 2009 with whom she has a daughter named Valentina.
