The little hero. In the US, a 5-year-old boy saved his entire family from a fire

If it were not for this boy, the family would hardly have been able to escape.

Georgia has a little hero named Noah Woods. At night, he woke up from a fire in his bedroom but did not succumb to panic and got oriented quickly.

First, he ran to his two-year-old sister, who slept with him in the same room. He pulled her out of the window. After that, he returned to the dog and rescued him as well. The boy then ran to his uncle and asked for assistance. Jointly they rescued the family members who remained at home.

Saviors who arrived at the scene saw that all the members of the burning house were able to get out into the street. The boy and four other family members were hospitalized with secondary burns as well as carbon monoxide intoxication.

“We’ve already seen kids rescue their families,” said Bartow County Fire Chief Dwayne Jamieson. “But the fact that a 5-year-old did it is unexpected.”

The cause of the fire was an electrical overcharge. The grandfather of the little hero admitted that if it were not for his grandson, the family would hardly have been able to escape.

Also, the boy was awarded the rescue award, which is given to skilled firefighters. And Noah admitted that he would like to become a lifeguard in the future.

Regional firefighters were astonished at the boy’s courage. A ceremony was held in his honor and he was greeted by the city’s honorable firefighters.
