The 51-year-old Hollywood actress chose a sophisticated black-and-white ensemble featuring a loose white blouse, a tailored black blazer and a flowing maxi skirt. She completed her look with black tights and glossy patent-leather heels.
Jolie wore elegant evening makeup with emphasized eyes and coral-colored lipstick. Her honey-blonde hair was styled straight, with soft strands framing her face.
The Maleficent star appeared relaxed and cheerful, smiling and waving to fans before entering the theater for the private screening.
Her public appearance coincided with an important family development. According to reports, a Los Angeles court approved her 18-year-old daughter Vivienne’s request to legally remove Brad Pitt’s surname, changing her name to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie.
Vivienne reportedly followed the example of her siblings Shiloh, Maddox and Zahara, who have also dropped their father’s surname.
Despite the ongoing attention surrounding her family, Angelina attended the premiere to support her colleagues. She does not appear in Wild Horse Nine, which was written and directed by Martin McDonagh.
The film stars John Malkovich, Steve Buscemi, Sam Rockwell and Parker Posey, telling the story of two CIA agents sent to Easter Island during the political turmoil surrounding Chile’s 1973 coup.
Meanwhile, reports suggest Jolie is considering spending more time outside the United States now that her youngest children have reached adulthood.
