Instead of enjoying a traditional luxury vacation, the pair embraced outdoor adventures, wearing climbing gear and trying activities such as rappelling down steep cliffs and kayaking along a river. Their celebration also included a classic chocolate birthday cake.
Alongside the pictures, Perry shared a heartfelt message about reaching a new age and how happy she was to experience it with Trudeau.
“I leveled up to 42 this week! I was feeling a little indifferent about this milestone age… Then someone explained to me that 42 is actually the answer to everything. Although I still don’t quite understand it, I’m okay with turning 42 as long as I get to experience it with you. Back to life…” she wrote.
Perry and Trudeau began their relationship in July 2025 and publicly confirmed their romance several months later.
Their love story marks a new chapter for the singer following a difficult period that included criticism of her album 143, the demands of her concert tour and her separation from actor Orlando Bloom after nearly ten years together.
