Kim Kardashian brought classic Hollywood elegance to the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles, appearing on the red carpet in a striking look inspired by legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor.
The reality star and entrepreneur paid tribute to the screen icon with a voluminous, carefully styled hairstyle reminiscent of the glamorous looks Taylor frequently wore to public events.

For the occasion, Kim chose a rare archival Balenciaga gown from 1951. The light-colored creation featured an elegant off-the-shoulder neckline, intricate lace details and an oversized bow decorating the back.
She completed the sophisticated ensemble with luxurious jewelry, including a diamond necklace by Leviev and sparkling earrings from Zydo Italy.
This was not Kardashian’s first fashion tribute to Elizabeth Taylor. Last year, she appeared on the runway wearing earrings that had once belonged to the Hollywood legend’s personal jewelry collection.
Kim has also repeatedly expressed her admiration for another famous screen icon, Marilyn Monroe, whose unforgettable style has inspired several of her public appearances.

One of her most talked-about tributes came at the 2022 Met Gala, when she wore Monroe’s historic dress, borrowed from the American museum Ripley’s Believe It or Not!
To fit into the famous gown, Kardashian revealed that she had lost approximately seven kilograms in just three weeks.
Shortly after the dress was returned to the museum, rumors circulated online suggesting that the delicate garment had been damaged. Kim publicly denied those allegations.
With her latest red-carpet appearance, Kardashian once again demonstrated her fascination with vintage Hollywood fashion, combining a historic designer gown with a hairstyle and accessories inspired by one of cinema’s most celebrated stars.
