Shakira made a rare fashion-week appearance in Paris, joining a long list of international stars at the presentation of Tom Ford’s new collection.
The 49-year-old singer arrived in a striking black Tom Ford dress that closely followed her figure. The design featured a plunging neckline and an open back, giving the otherwise classic black look a much more daring edge.
Shakira is not often seen sitting front row at major fashion shows, making her appearance particularly noticeable. She joined an impressive celebrity crowd that included Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Mark Eydelshteyn and Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris Jackson.
Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne, Cynthia Erivo and Sam Claflin were also among the guests. Lou Doillon, the daughter of actress and fashion icon Jane Birkin, attended as well.
The event also welcomed William P. Lauder, the grandson of Estée Lauder Companies founders Estée and Joseph Lauder, who appeared with his partner. Supermodel Erin Wasson was another familiar face at the show.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley opted for a completely different aesthetic from Shakira. The 39-year-old supermodel and Jason Statham’s partner wore an elegant silk trouser suit with a matching trench coat.
With Shakira embracing a fitted, skin-baring silhouette and Rosie choosing relaxed tailoring, the Tom Ford show brought together dramatically different interpretations of Paris Fashion Week glamour.
