Kate Middleton and Prince William stepped out together in Leeds, swapping the glamour of their recent London movie premiere for a day centered on rugby and community work.
The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, visited Headingley Rugby Stadium, home of the Leeds Rhinos. During the engagement, they met players and learned more about the work carried out by the club and its foundation through sport.
Kate arrived in a familiar piece from her wardrobe rather than debuting a completely new outfit. She wore a green Ralph Lauren blazer that she had recently been seen wearing during a visit to Scotland. This time, the princess teamed it with wide black trousers featuring sharp creases, creating a polished but practical look for the stadium visit.
William kept things equally classic. The prince appeared beside his wife in a blue suit, completing his outfit with a light blue shirt and tie.
The couple also met former rugby league star Kevin Sinfield, who is completing seven ultramarathons in seven days to raise money and awareness for motor neurone disease charities in memory of his late friend and former Leeds Rhinos teammate Rob Burrow.
The Leeds appearance came shortly after William and Kate attended a glamorous film premiere in London together, making their latest joint engagement a noticeable change of setting.
Kate and William have been married since 2011 and are parents to three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
