Nicole Kidman commanded attention as she arrived at the 78th annual Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, turning the television industry’s biggest night into another major fashion moment.
The 59-year-old Australian-born actress joined the star-studded crowd at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles, where some of television’s most recognizable names gathered for the 2026 ceremony.
Kidman chose an elegant white Chanel gown for the occasion, but the design was far from understated. A dramatic layer of feathers framed the upper part of the dress, bringing volume and texture to the otherwise refined look.

The gown also featured a sculpted silhouette around the hips, creating a distinctive shape that emphasized the Oscar winner’s slender figure.
A high slit running along one side added a bolder element. As Kidman posed for photographers, the opening revealed her leg and provided a striking contrast to the gown’s sophisticated white design.
She avoided overwhelming the outfit with accessories. Classic black pointed pumps provided the strongest contrast, while delicate jewelry completed the ensemble without distracting from the dramatic Chanel creation.
Kidman’s appearance stood out among a red carpet filled with high-profile guests, including Selena Gomez and Zendaya. But with its feathers, architectural silhouette and revealing slit, her white gown delivered one of the evening’s most memorable combinations of classic elegance and modern drama.
At 59, Kidman once again demonstrated that she is willing to take fashion risks rather than disappear into a conventional red-carpet look — and the cameras certainly had plenty to capture.
