Margot Robbie and Bradley Cooper have been photographed sharing an intense kiss on a hotel balcony in the south of France — but the intimate moment was all part of their latest movie.
The two Hollywood stars are currently working together on the upcoming “Ocean’s Eleven” prequel. Production has begun in France and is later expected to move to Monaco.
Cooper has taken on several responsibilities for the project. The 51-year-old is directing the film, contributed to the screenplay and also plays one of its central characters alongside Robbie.
In the story, Cooper and Robbie portray the parents of Danny Ocean. Their adventure unfolds against the glamorous backdrop of the 1962 Monaco Grand Prix.
Cameras are currently rolling on the French Riviera, where photographers managed to capture the co-stars while they were filming one of the movie’s more romantic scenes.
The sequence took place on a hotel balcony overlooking picturesque Villefranche-sur-Mer. Cooper wrapped his arms around Robbie and pulled her closer before the pair kissed for the cameras.
Robbie, 36, had been transformed into her 1960s character for the scene. She wore a white-and-turquoise off-the-shoulder midi dress and a carefully styled hairstyle designed to evoke the period.
Cooper appeared considerably more casual in a fitted white tank top. As the scene unfolded, he leaned toward his co-star and embraced her while photographers captured the moment from a distance.
Robbie first revealed approximately four years ago that she would be involved with the project. The finished movie is currently expected to arrive in theaters next summer.
Away from their fictional romance, both stars have established personal lives. Cooper reportedly married Gigi Hadid in August during a private ceremony in New York. The actor has made the city his home and continues to share custody of his nine-year-old daughter Lea with former partner Irina Shayk.
Robbie, meanwhile, has been married to producer Tom Ackerley for nearly a decade. They first met in 2013 while working on “Suite Française” and tied the knot three years later. The couple are also parents to a young son.
For now, however, Robbie and Cooper are stepping into an entirely different relationship on screen — and the paparazzi photographs from their romantic balcony scene have provided an early glimpse of the chemistry audiences can expect from their upcoming “Ocean’s” adventure.
