Margaret Qualley returned to the spotlight with another head-turning red-carpet appearance following major changes in her personal life. The 31-year-old actress attended the Toronto International Film Festival in a dramatic sheer black gown.
The daughter of actress Andie MacDowell and rancher Paul Qualley arrived at the Royal Alexandra Theatre for the premiere of “Love of Your Life,” in which she stars alongside Patrick Schwarzenegger.
For the occasion, Qualley selected a transparent black Chanel dress featuring a plunging neckline. She wore the revealing design without a bra, allowing the sheer fabric and monochrome silhouette to become the defining elements of her look.

Black stiletto sandals completed the outfit and emphasized the actress’s slender figure.
Her beauty styling was considerably softer. Qualley wore curled lashes, delicate blush and chocolate-toned lipstick, while her hair was styled into tight curls that fell naturally around her face.
She kept her jewelry understated, choosing small yellow-gold stud earrings and a simple ring rather than adding statement accessories to the already striking dress.
The Toronto appearance comes only months after news emerged in July that Qualley had filed for divorce from singer and producer Jack Antonoff following three years of marriage.
The former couple were last publicly seen together at the Grammy Awards on February 1. When Antonoff attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding on July 3, Qualley was absent and his sister Rachel accompanied him instead.

In August, Qualley made her first red-carpet appearance following the breakup. At the London premiere of “The Dog Stars,” observers noticed that she was no longer wearing her wedding ring.
People close to the former couple have said their separation was not caused by infidelity or trust issues.
Qualley also removed photographs from her wedding to Antonoff from social media. The couple had celebrated their marriage in Beach Haven, New Jersey, Antonoff’s hometown.
Now, with her latest appearance in Toronto, Qualley has once again put the emphasis firmly on her work and fashion, stepping in front of photographers in one of her boldest post-split red-carpet looks yet.
