Brad Pitt, 62, Looks Years Younger in a Bold Casual Outfit at His Los Angeles Premiere

Brad Pitt appeared to be in particularly high spirits as he stepped out in Los Angeles for a private screening of his latest movie. At 62, the Hollywood star attracted almost as much attention with his youthful appearance and unconventional clothes as he did with his new project.

The actor arrived at Paramount Studios in California to present the action film “Heart of the Beast,” in which he plays the leading role. Instead of reaching for the polished suit usually associated with movie premieres, Pitt embraced a relaxed, hipster-inspired aesthetic.

Even with Los Angeles experiencing hot weather, the actor layered an indigo Maison Margiela hoodie over a T-shirt. The intentionally distressed piece featured faded areas, white paint marks, frayed edges and stretched sleeves, giving it a deliberately worn-in appearance.

He continued the rugged theme with light-blue jeans covered in rips, faded sections and patches. Pitt then mixed those distressed pieces with several more distinctive accessories.

A dark navy fedora made from soft felt sat on his head, while designer metal-framed glasses with lightly tinted lenses added another stylish detail. He also wore a chunky ring and unexpectedly bright lime sneakers with white soles.

His grooming was considerably more polished than his clothes. Pitt showed off a neatly maintained beard touched with gray, and his appearance quickly prompted comments about how youthful he continues to look. Some even compared him to his famously age-reversing character in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”

The evening itself centered on “Heart of the Beast,” an action thriller directed by David Ayer from a screenplay by Cameron Alexander. The film is scheduled for release at the end of September.

Pitt portrays a former Navy SEAL who survives a plane crash in the remote Alaskan wilderness. Stranded with his loyal dog, his character must fight to stay alive and find a way back to civilization. J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe also star in the project.

The Oscar winner seemed especially energized while discussing the movie. He smiled, appeared relaxed and spoke enthusiastically about his latest work.

His cheerful mood came shortly after ex-wife Angelina Jolie, 51, spoke publicly about the close relationship she shares with their children: 25-year-old Maddox, 22-year-old Pax, 21-year-old Zahara, 20-year-old Shiloh and 18-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Pitt’s relationship with the children deteriorated following his 2016 separation from the “Maleficent” actress. Almost all of them have since legally dropped the Pitt surname.

Away from that complicated family history, the “Fight Club” star has also moved forward romantically. Since 2022, he has been in a relationship with jewelry designer and fitness trainer Ines de Ramon, with whom he has reportedly found stability following his difficult divorce.

For his latest public appearance, at least, Pitt looked focused on the present — smiling broadly, promoting his new movie and confidently embracing a style considerably more rebellious than the traditional Hollywood premiere uniform.
