Katie Holmes and Jason Bard Yarmosky are becoming increasingly comfortable appearing together in public. The 47-year-old actress was joined by the 39-year-old New York artist for the Cult Gaia runway show, where the couple stepped out together amid the excitement of New York Fashion Week.
Holmes and Yarmosky took their places in the front row, making their relationship particularly visible at one of the week’s fashion events. The actress, who was previously married to Tom Cruise, sat beside her boyfriend, with singer Iman and supermodel Helena Christensen also among the guests nearby.
The couple’s romance first became public this summer. Holmes and Yarmosky were initially spotted together at a private screening, prompting speculation that the actress had someone new in her life.
By July, there was little reason left for secrecy. Katie and Jason attended an event together for the first time as a couple, effectively confirming that their connection had developed into a romantic relationship.
Yarmosky is eight years younger than Holmes and works as an artist in New York. Their latest Fashion Week appearance marks another step into the public eye for the relatively new couple.
Holmes’ most famous relationship remains her marriage to Tom Cruise. The actors began dating in 2005, and one year later they welcomed their daughter, Suri. Approximately six months after her birth, Holmes and Cruise married in Italy.
Their marriage ended in 2012. In the years that followed, Cruise became estranged from his daughter and no longer maintains a relationship with her. He did, however, leave Suri a substantial inheritance.
Suri has also increasingly separated her public identity from her famous father. For years, she has introduced herself as Suri Noelle rather than publicly using the Cruise surname. Noelle comes from Katie Holmes’ own middle name.
More recently, Suri made that separation official by legally dropping the Cruise surname.
Now, more than a decade after the end of her marriage, Holmes appears comfortable bringing a new relationship into the public eye. Her latest outing with Yarmosky at New York Fashion Week offered another glimpse of the couple together as their romance continues to attract attention.
