Tess Daly has surprised followers by sharing a new photo with her estranged husband Vernon Kay only months after the couple announced the end of their marriage.
The 57-year-old Strictly Come Dancing presenter and 52-year-old Vernon spent more than 25 years together and were married for 22 years. They share two daughters, 21-year-old Phoebe and 17-year-old Amber.
Despite facing a highly publicized scandal during their marriage, Tess and Vernon remained together for years and were widely regarded as one of British television’s most established couples. Their announcement that they were separating therefore came as a surprise to many fans.
Around three months after confirming their split, however, the former couple have appeared together again — and this time their daughters were right beside them.
Tess shared several photographs from a summer family getaway in France on Instagram. The first image showed Tess, Vernon, Phoebe and Amber sitting together at a restaurant and enjoying a meal.

Rather than appearing uncomfortable following their separation, the family looked relaxed as they spent time together during the trip.
Their reunion also reflects what Tess and Vernon said when announcing their separation. The pair made it clear that, despite ending their marriage, they intended to remain united when it came to their daughters.
Their latest family holiday suggests they are keeping that promise, with Tess and Vernon putting their differences aside to continue sharing important moments with Phoebe and Amber.
